Overview

Reystov (レイストフ Reisutofu?) was a highly skilled adventurer and companion of William. He retired as an adventurer and decided to settle down with his newly-wedded wife, Anna.

Appearance[]

He is human in his adult years. His hair is long and messy while his facial hair kept short and scruffy. He later makes himself more presentable, his hair cut short and his facial hair shaved.

Personality[]

He seemingly gives off the impression of a rough and violent madman, he enjoys the thrill of battles and seeks glory throughout them by spreading his name. Despite his self-proclaimed title of a madman he is incredible skilled, strategic and worries for others on the battlefield. He enjoys gatherings and has a sense of humour.

Background[]

He was born as the second son of the chief of the village located in Volt's Stove, in the regions of the Ice Mountains, home to the Silverpeak Clan. At the age of ten he was away at his uncle's village while his tribe was betrayed and his family massacred by the neighbouring tribes.

He was brought in by his uncle and cousins. He dedicated himself to train and dreamt of the day that he was avenge his family but by adulthood at the age of fifteen, he realised the neighbouring tribes had only prospered and it would only bring trouble for his uncle's tribe and village and decided to give up his quest for vengeance.

Instead he made a name for himself as an adventurer, where he would gain honour and glory that would last forever. he believed if he spread his name far and wide it would reach the ears of his family in the heavens and their souls would be at peace.

Summary[]

The Archer of Beast Woods[]

He is a well-known and respected adventurer. He was the first of the adventurers to take William's commission seriously and rallied up the rougher adventurers to join the campaign of the subjugation of the demons that lie in Beast Woods. He took advantage of the feast held before their depart to make connections with others.

Trivia[]

  • The author mentions in an interview about discussing the influences of Tabletop Role Playing Games in their novels, the character Reystov is slightly modelled after a character their friend created.
